Great! This is THE place to break back in. Most of our members are in a similar boat or have recently started dancing again or for the first time, so rest assured that the people around you GET IT and there is no judgment whatsoever. Classes are paced in a way that you can really adapt it to your level and current ability.
Music types vary depending on the teacher. Playlists range from Indie rock and dance music, to pop, to instrumental. Here’s a sample playlist!
We don’t offer refunds, but classes are recorded on Zoom! If you miss, you’ll receive the recording within 24 hours of the class.
We price our classes in our best efforts to be sustainable for our small business, while also affordable for our students. Current rates are on average $95 for a 4-week series in person. If cost is prohibitive but you are feeling extremely connected to our mission and would love to take part, please reach out to jess@jessgrippo.com and we can let you know if there are still scholarship spots available.
Yes! We are following state mandated requirements. Masks are currently optional but we will stay in tune with updates and make adjustments if necessary. Studio is cleaned and disinfected after each use to keep us fresh and safe!
Wear clothes you can comfortably move in - barefoot or socks is recommended, but dance shoes are also ok! It's not a fashion show, so don't stress over what to wear ;) Most people wear sweatpants or leggings and a t-shirt.
For in person: Bring your own water and water bottle. Refills at the studio are via tap water at the sink only.
We’ve tried our best to be as descriptive as possible and to give examples to help ease the fear of the unknown and allow you to determine if it would be a good fit. That being said, it’s still totally normal to be nervous or to have questions!
We welcome you to connect with our online community first to talk through the nerves and reach out to our team. We are also working on more resources to support you every step of the way.
